Rose Mary Berlin was recently interviewed by the Westchester, NY chapter of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators).
Rose has worked with Nancy K. Carpenter to illustrate books 2 - 4 of the Itty & Bitty Children's Book Series and their coloring book, "Itty & Bitty Visit America's Parks."
In the interview, she talks about how she and Nancy work together and answers some questions about being an illustrator.

Come join us for PAJAMA STORY TIME! On Thursday night, October 18th, from 6:30-7:30 pm, Nancy will be at the Maxwell Memorial Library in Camillus, NY for Pajama Story Time. Author of the Itty & Bitty children's books, Nancy will read from her series and share stories about the real minis who live in Texas. She will also share a new poem , "Bedtime with Itty & Bitty" with the children. The series is geared for pre-school and elementary aged children, and anyone who enjoys horses and a good laugh. Mini refreshments will be served!
On July 13th, Nancy flew to Texas to be guest author at COMMUNITY WAREHOUSE, a wonderful charity organization in Ft. Worth. Itty, Bitty and Nancy have been part of thiis program since 2005. They love to support this group, because its mission is "dedicated to the education and well-being of low-income children in the community." Nancy gets to read her Itty Bitty books to the children, tell silly stories, and brings minis along for the children to meet "up close and in person." Brushing the minis and combing their tails are now a big attraction for the kiddos. And every child goes home with an Itty Bitty book!
