Micro: Mini Ambassador
We'd like to introduce you to Micro! He's a little mini who travels with Nancy to schools, libraries, and special events when we cannot be there.
Nancy now lives in New York State, while we are still in Texas, so he has become our mini-ambassador. He has a few outfits he wears depending on the weather -- a fancy white coat (called a "sheet") for summer and a warmer red one for winter.
He loves to travel in the car. Nancy says he's become quite the backseat driver!
He stands very patiently when he gets kissed, patted, and hugged by children.
Sometimes Nancy takes him along just for company, and they explore sites around New York State. He saw a cow in Schuylerville, and he got up close to a tractor at a grocery store in Nancy's town.
You can see that he is small, like us, but he's a different color. We're both Pintos (meaning we have white spots above our knees), and our main colors are black and Palomino. Micro is a solid Bay. That means he has a brown coat with a black mane and tail. Like us, however, he has some "chrome," that is, white socks on his legs, right above his hooves. It makes him look fancy! Bay is the most common color for horses, but Micro is not common at all. He's a special guy and our good buddy.
