In this first book of the Itty Bitty series, you’ll meet the two silly miniature horses and get to know their personalities.

Itty’s the fussy, fancy golden mini, while, Bitty, his best friend, is a slob.

You’ll see how they eat, sleep (snuggled, “two to a stall”),  run around barefoot, drive a car and go shopping. Their antics are told in short, silly verses, and delightfully illustrated by Dana Bauer, a well-known illustrator in the kid’s horse world.

The author, a poet and former teacher, occasionally sneaks in the “big word” like ragamuffin, to add to the word play and enhance children’s vocabulary skills.
